Our rooms were a sanctuary of comfort, featuring premium bedding, air conditioning, and views of the lush garden that reminded me of my own lush tea estates back in Galle. The breakfast experience was a highlight; every morning we were treated to a buffet of homemade delicacies that celebrated the region's culinary charm. After engaging our senses over a delightful meal, we would often find ourselves lounging by the sparkling seasonal outdoor pool, basking in the Tuscan sun-a far cry from my busy plantation routine. With complimentary shuttle service at our disposal and insightful advice from our hosts about nearby attractions, exploring the picturesque surroundings became both effortless and enjoyable.
